Send a Harry Potter fan a personalized Hogwarts, Durmstrang, or Beauxbatons Acceptance Letter for only $12. McGonagall's signature is traced by hand in green ink for a more authentic look. Madame Maxime's and Karkaroff's are not. The second sheet of books and equipment is also included. Both sheets are tucked into an ivory A7 envelope and sealed with a faux wax seal. Check out the photo gallery for images of the letters we offer. Change the fields below to the customized information you would like on your letter. Do you want a prop replica of Harry's letter? We realize that the address on the inner Hogwarts envelope may be fictional, incomplete, or old (in the case of the Dead Letter Office).
We do not ship to the address given here. We use the address on the payment as the real one that the postman will use.
Please double check that the ship to info you provide on the payment is 100% correct.
Harry received his letter on his 11th birthday, and most people order these for 11th birthdays. However, sometimes that just isn't possible. If you have a student age 12-18 who did not receive one at 11, you may choose to add a post script that apologizes for the lateness of the letter. If your student is over 18, you may choose to have the letter sent from the Dead Letter Office. Essentially, this will have stamps and markings on the envelope showing it has been lost since the person was 11. Some may also choose to have a letter sent to a child younger than 11. We can send a pre-approval in that case.
If you choose the DLO option, please remember that the address on the envelope should be the one lived at when 11 if you know it. If not, it's OK. Also, if the student is female and married now, use her maiden name and the title of Miss or Ms. since that is what she would have gone by back then. Include the date of the person's 11th birthday and we may be able to stamp that it was received by the DLO on that date.
The book version letter states that term starts on September 1st and that the student should reply by owl by July 31st. However, many people use these letters to let someone know they are going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida or the WB Studios Harry Potter Tour in London, England. In that case, you might want to change the start of term date to the date you will attend the location and the reply date can be a little before then. Also, if you have a student whose birthday is in August, you might want to leave the start of term the same, but make the reply date sometime after his or her birthday (so they don't think they've missed it). The movie version does not mention any dates. Students with birthdays after September 1st should assume the letter is for next term. Do not change the dates without good reason as it will slow processing time.
