Basilisk Fang, Blood, and Tom Riddle Diary Set
My husband makes this replica prop for fans of Harry Potter. In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry defeats the Basilisk and uses it's fang to destroy Tom Riddle's diary (which turns out to be a horcrux). After the Battle of Hogwarts in which You-Know-Who was finally vanquished, a basilisk fang, a sample vial of its blood, and Tom Riddle's diary ended up in Professor Slughorn's hands purely for academic reasons, of course. After studying them, he placed them with the auctioneers Borgin and Burkes and here they are for auction!
You get a fang made of sculpey and aged to perfection. It measures approximately 11 inches from tip to end following the curve. You also get a 4" glass vial with black screw cap filled with Basilisk blood. The vial has a tag marked "Basilisk Blood" tied to it with twine. The diary is a black book measuring 8.5 x 5 inches which has been varnished (it can't be opened) and drilled. Ink and gold paint have been spilled on it to simulate damage. The fang, vial, and diary are packed in straw inside a handmade wooden crate that measures 14 x 10 x 4 inches. On the top of the crate is a shipping label which we can fill in by hand with any name and shipping address you like or we can leave it blank for you to fill in. There are 2 potion labels on the top as well, and the Borgin and Burkes logo which is drawn on with brown marker. The front side has a label also marked "Acromantula Venom", and there are rope handles on each side of the crate for easy transport.
You also get a half letter sized 2 part NCR Borgin and Burkes sales receipt that we will fill in by hand if you like (or leave blank for you). It will have the final auction price on it but converted to galleons, sickle, and knuts. We will stamp "Shipped" and the date on it also. Please note we can only stamp a date between 1995-2005 as we purchased an old date stamp for this project. Below, please let us know:
1. The name and address for the shipping label or if you'd like it blank.
2. The buyer's name and address for the sales receipt or if you'd like it blank.
3. The shipping date (between 1995-2005) you would like stamped on the receipt or if you would like us to leave it off.
This one of a kind set would make a very nice Christmas gift for someone! Note that the fang can be placed in the hole by hand, but it can NOT stand up on it's own in the book.
